CV checker
Check your CV text before you send it
Paste your CV as plain text. The tool runs simple checks and lists what to look at. It is a proofreading aid, not an ATS score and not a guarantee of any result.
The checks run in this page. Your CV text is not uploaded and is not saved when you close or reload the tab.
Results
What the checker looks at
- Contact details: an email address and a phone number.
- Section headings: summary, experience, education and skills.
- Dates and numbers: whether jobs and results can be understood.
- Generic phrases from a short list, such as “team player” or “responsible for”.
- Length and very long blocks of text.
How to use the results
- Treat each point as a prompt to look again, not as an order.
- Fix real gaps first: contact details, dates and unclear job titles.
- Replace generic claims with one concrete example from your own work.
- Keep the CV honest. Add only things that are true and that you can explain in an interview.
- Paste the final text again after editing and compare.

Questions and answers
Is this an ATS checker?
No. Applicant tracking systems differ and their rules are not public, so no tool can give you a reliable ATS score. This checker looks for common, visible problems in the text.
Does the tool improve my CV for me?
No. It points to things to review. You decide what to change.
Which languages can it check?
The interface is in English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and it recognises common section words and generic phrases in all five.
