Questions and answers
Is the CV score check free?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and nothing is uploaded: your file is read in your browser.
What does the score mean?
It is the share of 15 plain checks that your CV passes: contact details, sections, dates, action verbs, numbers, length and the file. Use it to see what to fix. It does not predict hiring.
Is my CV uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened by your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, saved or shared. The PDF reader is part of this site, so no outside service is called.
Is this an ATS score?
No. Applicant tracking systems differ and their rules are not public, so no tool can give a reliable ATS score. This is a self-check with simple, visible rules.
Why does my scanned PDF not work?
A scan is a picture of a page, so there are no words to read. Export a text PDF from Word or Google Docs.
Which languages does it understand?
English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. It detects the language of your CV, which can differ from the language of this page.
Does it improve my CV for me?
No. It points to what to look at. You decide what to change, and every line in your CV should stay true.
